This figure places the Specialty Crops Platform among the largest digital agronomic management platforms with the highest number of connected specialty crop protection equipment in the world.
Fede, a technological leader in the specialty crops protection sector, has surpassed the 500 connected H3O Smartomizers in major specialty crop markets around the world. The connected equipment includes H3O Smartomizer models marketed under both Fede and Kubota brands.
This figure places Fede’s Specialy Crops Platform (SCP) as one of the digital agronomic management platforms with more connections in the specialty crops sector worldwide. The more than half a thousand connected H3O units working on the fields confirms the trust of the agricultural professionals in its agronomic, business and environmental benefits.
The H3O system has become a commercial and technological success. It is the most awarded technology in its category in history and it has been implemented by some of the most important plantations of this sector (citrus, vineyard, olive, fruit, avocado, almond, pistachio, walnut…), as well as by medium and small farmers.
There are currently 246.372 hectares of crops registered with the SCP, which are reducing the use of pesticides by up to 25%, 18% of water and 4 l/h of fuel. Savings in the use of agricultural inputs have a direct impact on increasing business’ profitability and reducing the environmental impact of treatments.
In addition, the detailed recording of the work fields data provides real traceability of all treatments carried out, enabling the automatic issue of the digital farmbook.
Treatments’ digitalization has boosted the competitiveness of the Smartomizer H3O users yield, distinguishing their harvest by their high quality and the confidence that the crops have been treated in compliance with regulations on the correct use of pesticides. Furthermore, precise traceability has also contributed to the improvement of society’s food safety standards.
